What Roon is

A water-free natural deodorant balm in a proprietary twist-up mini tube — Roon owns the tooling — that applies directly to skin, hands-free, and is built to be carried. It exists because the founder's household went looking for a natural deodorant that actually lasted the day and couldn't find one: when the founder's partner got elevated heavy-metals results back, the two of them decided to cut synthetic and unnecessary chemical exposure wherever it was easy — and aluminum-based antiperspirant was simply the first thing they chose to drop. Sixteen months, three labs and one failed production run later, the formula is locked, two contract manufacturers can hold the batch, and the category's most expensive product per ounce is getting repeat purchases at full price.

The premise, in one line. Premium price, commodity-level COGS, an owned component nobody else can buy — and inventory, not demand, has been the ceiling on revenue.
New since the last deck (October 2026). Free People confirmed a December 1 online launch of all four minis and the Discovery Set on Oct 16; URBN vendor onboarding is under way and the first purchase orders ship November 10, starting with small online quantities. The ROON trademark registered Oct 13 (US Reg. No. 8,505,731). Retail accounts are reordering: Summer House placed its second order six weeks after opening, and C.O. Bigelow (NYC) sold through its opening case and placed a second order on Oct 20. eCosmetics.com is onboarding with its first consignment. TikTok Shop went live Oct 11. The first checks of this round are in from Emma Leach and Melanie Leach, and Russell and Mallory Dorazio (Stellar Beauty) signed on Oct 21. The pipeline →

Why now

The 20,000-tube V2 production run shipped from the component factory on Aug 22 — 5,000 by air for September, 15,000 by sea for Q4. This round buys the finished inventory the channel is already asking for (Free People launching online December 1, Well.ca signed, Shoppers Drug Mart guidance, Bloomingdale's, Roon's own FBA) plus the 50 g full-size mold that department-store buyers have requested.
