What Roon is
A water-free natural deodorant balm in a proprietary twist-up mini tube — Roon owns the tooling — that applies directly to skin, hands-free, and is built to be carried. It exists because the founder's household went looking for a natural deodorant that actually lasted the day and couldn't find one: when the founder's partner got elevated heavy-metals results back, the two of them decided to cut synthetic and unnecessary chemical exposure wherever it was easy — and aluminum-based antiperspirant was simply the first thing they chose to drop. Sixteen months, three labs and one failed production run later, the formula is locked, two contract manufacturers can hold the batch, and the category's most expensive product per ounce is getting repeat purchases at full price.

Why now
The 20,000-tube V2 production run shipped from the component factory on Aug 22 — 5,000 by air for September, 15,000 by sea for Q4. This round buys the finished inventory the channel is already asking for (Free People launching online December 1, Well.ca signed, Shoppers Drug Mart guidance, Bloomingdale's, Roon's own FBA) plus the 50 g full-size mold that department-store buyers have requested.
